David Krecji put the Bruins ahead for the first time in at 3:54 of the third period on a nifty backhand pass from Vladamir Sobotka. Shawn Thornton gave the Bruins the insurance that they would need at 11:54 with an unassisted goal standing all alone in the slot put it by Cam Ward. Ray Whitney lifted a nice easy rebound into an open net after Fernandez made the intial saves after a scramble. And Stephane Yelle salted it away with an open netter and the Bruins go on a five game road trip with a 4-2 win. The Bruins next game at home where they have won 13 in a row, will be New Years Day. A solid win again for Manny Fernandez and the Bruins!
