Your Boston Bruins have one more game on this six-game homestand. So far they are 3-2-0 and the big one that we all are looking forward to is Tuesday against the hated Montreal Canadiens. In what looks to be one of those big four pointers, the Habs come into Boston with a fine 8-2-1 in their last 11 games. (I’m taking into account that the Washington Capitals go into Montreal Saturday night and again beat the Habs.) And that is without some of their better players including Captain Saku Koivu and Goaltender Carey Price. While they have been winning they have still been giving up a lot of goals because Jaroslav Halak has not been playing well at all. It has been the resurgence of the Canadien power play that has allowed them to stay on this winning run. The Bruins are 10-2-0 in the last 12 and after getting their win streak and home win streak broken by the Sabres and a shutout loss at home to the Minnesota Wild, they come right back with two solid wins over the lowly Senators and a thorough thrashing of the Carolina Hurricanes.Which sets up one of Diehards favorite things; Bruins Canadiens at the Garden Tuesday night 7pm. Lets hope there is a very small, if none at all, group of Canadien fans. The Gahden will be rockin’!
