In Ottawa to face the Senators Friday and back home for shirt off your back night against Buffalo. And oh, what a two game festival it could wind up. Buffalo is coming off a shoot out win against the Maple Leafs in Toronto to keep their playoff hopes alive and head to Montreal to try and keep it going. The Senators have been in sort of a freefall. They were shutout by the Canadiens on Tuesday at home. The Bruins need to keep them in their tailspin and should Boston lose, it could all come down to that Saturday night game with the Sabres at the TD Banknorth Garden, and no one wants that.
Last night Boston played as well as they have the past two weeks but the result was a shootout loss, 3-2. These are the kind of games that the playoffs bring. If the Bruins fail in those games, should they make the playoffs and I think they will, it will over before it starts.
