Hockey Day In Canada

OK, yes Diehard watches way too much hockey and should really get a life in the real world. But when you have The “Great 8” scoring goals like he did Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens, how can I not watch the greatest player out there now doing things in the greatest sport on earth like he does.   If you don’t know who the “Great 8” is…I’m not telling. But for those of us that have the NHL Network on their satellite or cable system and you like hockey and have no life, you should be glued to “Hockey Day in Canada” presented by the CBC. Only the best network to broadcast hockey anywhere. You will get to see all six Canadian hockey teams play each other and other eccentricities of Canada throughout the day. Hockey on CBC is much more in depth and thoughtful and not empty-headed like so many hockey broadcasts in our back yard and beyond.

Ron MacLean hosts the day on CBC and there is not a better person to do the job with the smoothness that he does.  And you get to see the great man, Don Cherry, in all his Edouardian collar greatness. Yes its Canada, but the production of the CBC Hockey Night in Canada shows just how to put on a hockey show and great game broadcast.
