Just when you think that the Bruins are gonna win a game they really busted their asses to stay in and come from behind four times, they shock the heck out of ya with just a terrible ending. Horrendous ending! Horrifying and unbelievable to watch. Shocking! No need to recap what happened in Pittsburgh on Saturday night, but I think it was a rerun on Sunday with the New England Patriots. Both of those teams had defeats SNATCHED from the jaws of victory. Granted the Bruins get a point because of the ridiculous NHL rules, but my goodness. Several bonehead moves in the last minute of regulation in which the Bruins had many opportunities to hit the open net. And then they get caught up ice and Bill Guerin is all alone in the slot. Then we have the ever present Tim Thomas and bonehead Dennis Wideman attempting to play the puck like it’s a cobra and….. oh let me stop right there. No excuses as to why the Bruins did not leave with a regulation victory. That was a total team loss starting with the coach. And once again, the Bruins couldn’t score when they needed to-with an open net-to secure the victory. Just unexplainable and unconscionable plays. Oh….and that was the end of the Patriots game too! UGH…all your winter sports teams had just wash this weekend away quickly. I’m trying to, but its hard!
